Here is a list of Butters and Oils I use in my products. Not all oils and/or butter are used at once. If you are unsure of what an Oil or Butter is and what it can do for your skin, you are in the right place. If your still not comfortable with the brief description please feel free to do your own research.
Shea Butter - is widely used in cosmetics as a moisturizer, salve or lotion. Shea Butter is believed to have anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties and more. https://www.healthline.com/health/beauty-skin-care/what-is-shea-butter
Mango Butter- It’s similar to Shea and Cocoa Butter in that it’s light and moisturizing without being greasy. Made from mango seeds it is said to be the King Of Fruit with rich nutrients like Vitamin A, Calcium, Vitamin C, Folate, Vitamin B6, Iron, Vitamin E, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc. https://www.healthline.com/health/beauty-skin-care/mango-butter-benefits
Cocoa Butter- Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, which is why it's often touted for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. https://www.healthline.com/health/beauty-skin-care/cocoa-butter-benefits
Vegetable Glycerin- Soothes skin irritation, protect against infection and promote wound healing. Studies show that applying glycerin-containing products may protect your skin against irritants and microbes, as well as soothe inflamed or wounded skin. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vegetable-glycerin
Sunflower Oil- a great source of vitamin E, rich in nutrients and antioxidants, and is effective for combatting skincare issues like acne, inflammation, general redness and irritation of the skin. Mica Powder- The biggest benefit of mica is its ability to create a natural shimmery finish, since it can be milled to a fine powder. Because it is naturally produced it is a particularly well-loved ingredient among organic and natural beauty brands, and is safe to use on almost all skin types with little to no side effects. https://www.truthinaging.com/ingredients/mica
Soybean Oil- is rich in vitamin E, a nutrient that can help promote skin health. Applying it topically may protect against inflammation and help the skin retain moisture. https://www.healthline.com/health/soybean-oil
Safflower Oil- antioxidant-rich vitamins are important in keeping your cells in good health. As a topical moisturizer, the linoleic acid in safflower oil is thought to help maintain the integrity of the outer layer of your skin by preventing flaking. Apply pure safflower oil directly to your eczema as often as desired. https://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/blog/products/all-about-safflower-oil.html
Rice Bran Oil- Rice Bran Carrier Oil improves circulation, evens out skin tone, and minimizes the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eye area.
